About the author
John Keahey is a veteran newspaper journalist who, since 1989, has been a news editor and reporter for The Salt Lake Tribune. He has history and marketing degrees from the University of Utah and spends as much time as possible in Italy. He lives in Salt Lake City with book designer Connie Disney.

Dreaming Sicily is the working title of John's next book, a travel narrative that captures Sicily and its various cultures through his eyes and the eyes of Sicilian authors of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, most notably Leonardo Sciascia (1921-1989) of Racalmuto, province of Agrigento. As John travels around the Mediterranean's largest -- and most conquered -- island, he will share photos of the places he visits and the people he meets. The book will be finished by mid 2010 with a likely publication date sometime in 2011.
