Caption: Giant loaves of bread, baked into special shapes for this festival, also known as the altar-bread festival, are propped up behind the Tavola di Sacra Famiglia, or the symbolic table set – on the bed of a flatbed truck -- for the sacred family. From here, the delicious, crusty bread is broken up at the end of the procession and served to attendees.
